🎓 Ayúdame a estar presente en mi graduación en Madrid
Soy Francisco Gomera, dominicano, y recientemente he culminado mi Máster en Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Web en la Universidad Europea de Madrid.
Este logro significa muchísimo para mí. Realicé todo el máster desde República Dominicana, dedicando tiempo, esfuerzo y muchas horas de estudio para poder alcanzar esta meta. Ha sido un camino de aprendizaje, retos y perseverancia, y finalmente he llegado al momento que tanto esperaba: mi graduación.
La ceremonia tendrá lugar el 25 de octubre de 2026 en Madrid, España. Sin embargo, asistir presencialmente implica realizar un viaje internacional que, en este momento, no tengo los recursos económicos para financiar. Aunque me encantaría poder estar allí para celebrar este logro y cerrar esta etapa junto a mis compañeros, actualmente no me es posible costear los gastos que implican.
Antes de recurrir a esta campaña, también intenté buscar otras alternativas. Me puse en contacto con la Universidad Europea de Madrid para solicitar apoyo, pero mi solicitud fue rechazada. Intenté tomar un crédito educativo pero no me es otorgado ya que tomé uno para cubrir parte de la matrícula y equipos. Después de intentar esta vía, decidí acudir a mi comunidad y pedir ayuda para hacer posible este viaje.
✈️ ¿En qué utilizaré los fondos?
Mi viaje está previsto del 22 al 29 de octubre de 2026, y he calculado los gastos necesarios de la siguiente manera:
- ✈️ Vuelo desde República Dominicana a España: €800
- 🏨 Alojamiento: €543 — ya reservado
- 🍽️ Alimentación y transporte: €300
El presupuesto estimado es de €1,643. La meta de la campaña será de €1,700, dejando un pequeño margen de €57 para cubrir posibles variaciones en los gastos y comisiones de la plataforma de recaudación.
Quiero ser completamente transparente con cada aporte recibido: el dinero recaudado será destinado exclusivamente a los gastos necesarios para poder realizar el viaje y asistir a mi graduación.

Si puedes contribuir, cualquier cantidad hace la diferencia. Una donación de €5, €10, €20 o cualquier otro monto me acerca un poco más a poder estar en Madrid el día de mi graduación.

Para mí, estar presente en esa ceremonia no representa simplemente asistir a un evento. Representa poder cerrar una etapa que me ha exigido mucho esfuerzo y celebrar el resultado de todo el trabajo realizado durante mi máster.

🎓 Help me attend my graduation in Madrid
My name is Francisco Gomera, I'm from the Dominican Republic, and I recently completed my Master's degree in Web Application Development at the European University of Madrid.
This achievement means so much to me. I completed the entire Master's program from the Dominican Republic, dedicating time, effort, and countless hours of study to reach this goal. It has been a journey of learning, challenges, and perseverance, and I have finally arrived at the moment I've been waiting for: my graduation.
The ceremony will take place on October 25, 2026, in Madrid, Spain. However, attending in person would require an international trip, which I currently lack the financial resources to cover. While I would love to be there to celebrate this achievement and close this chapter with my classmates, I am currently unable to afford the associated expenses.
Before launching this campaign, I also explored other options. I contacted the European University of Madrid to request support, but my request was rejected. I tried to get an educational loan, but I wasn't granted one because I already had one to cover part of the tuition and equipment. After trying this option, I decided to reach out to my community and ask for help to make this trip possible.

My trip is scheduled for October 22-29, 2026, and I've calculated the necessary expenses as follows:
