My name is Marcelo. I am a mechanical engineer by training, and for over 20 years, I dedicated my career to product development engineering—a path that demanded extreme precision, focus, and dedication. However, life often brings unexpected turns, and today I am reaching out to ask for your support as I navigate the most challenging chapter of my journey.
Currently, I am 53 years old. In this stage of life, the traditional job market frequently closes its doors, making the search for employment incredibly difficult. Beyond this professional barrier, I am fighting daily, silent battles with both my physical and mental health:
- Osteoarthritis: A chronic condition that severely limits my mobility, causes daily physical pain, and directly impacts my ability to perform physical tasks or maintain standard workplace routines.
- Mental Health (Bipolar Disorder, Depression, & Anxiety): Living with bipolar disorder, clinical depression, and anxiety requires a monumental psychological effort every single day. Consistent and proper treatment—including psychiatric visits, therapy, and high-cost medications—is absolutely essential for me to regain emotional stability and rebuild my life.
With the temporary inability to work and no steady income, basic living expenses and medical costs have accumulated rapidly.
