Hi, I'm Keesha. I'm a single mom with three wonderful kids, and I'm asking for help during a really tough time in my life. My children mean everything to me, and not being with them hurts every day. I'm working hard to get my life back on track and meet all the steps needed to get my kids back.
These past few years have been filled with challenges, especially with family issues that have made it harder to be with my kids. I rented an apartment from my ex-mother-in-law because I thought living nearby would help me see them more. But even then, I could only spend time with them outside, and I wasn't allowed to have them inside my home.
When Child Protective Services told me I could have my kids back immediately and told me that they didn'tunderstand why they were taken to begin with, I was hopeful about our reunion. Sadly, I was suddenly told to leave the apartment, and my ex-mother-in-law hasn't made it easy for me to be part of their lives at all. She acted as if she was their mother and is taking advantage of the situation to benefit financially. She is well-off and knows the system, as she is a former cps worker ,while I do not.
Right now, the main hurdle is finding a safe, stable three-bedroom house for us. I work hard, but with rising costs, saving enough money on my own is nearly impossible. I need help to achieve this goal.
I am trying to raise $50,000 to buy a small three-bedroom home where my kids can have their own rooms and a safe place to grow up, heal, and create new memories together.
