A little help for WOOFGANG PACK - food and shelter construction
Greetings!
Animal care requires too much time, effort, and sacrifice if it isn’t your passion. We are independent animal welfare advocates/ rescuers here in the Philippines and have been passionately helping out strays, neglected, abused and abandoned animals since 2013.
We work hard to make sure we provide these lovable animals with love and care and a home and their needs. While we have made some great strides, we as fur parents still have a lot to accomplish.
Our rescued, fostered, and adopted dogs have been with us for years. We seldom ask for support or donation, but these animals deserve a good home, and a safe environment. Through the years what we spent for our fur babies were coming out of our own pockets. Sometimes we manage to get help from some generous individuals, but we are still committed to a large share of our savings as we still have to pay our utility bills, caretaker, food, and rent.
Since this pandemic has affected us so much, we need an extra hand to at least help us with their food, medicines to keep them safe and healthy in the meantime. We lost 4 adult dogs and 15 puppies last March due to a distemper outbreak and this was the most devastating time of our lives. During the 8 years of taking care of our rescues, this was the first time we had an outbreak..
The expenses were so high from that month onwards and the little savings left has been used up and our salaries aren't enough to cover it all. As individuals, we are as committed as ever to taking care of our rescues and doing even more for them while they are still with us.
We are asking for any form of donation . At present, the heavy rains have affected us and our mini home shelter is also in need of some construction as soon as possible before the damage gets wider or larger. We have limited support from other animal groups here that is why we're trying so hard to find additional help outside.
The joy and pride of helping and giving to the homeless, voiceless animals is evident and very much appreciated. Thank you so much for your support in advance. We will think of you proudly as I bravely pound the pavement.
