My name is Tommy and am writing to everyone's kindness to help us raise funds for my sister Cindy's kidney disease treatment.
My sister is a vibrant and lovely 48 year old who has a heart of gold. She is warm, kind, full of life and a heart full of love, helping friends, family and even strangers in need even at the expense of placing their needs above her very own.
A week ago, she suddenly collapsed and was admitted to a hospital where she was diagnosed with an acute kidney infection. The infection is quite severe and the doctors have placed her in intensive care in order to try to fight the infection. The doctors are amazing and are proposing a long treatment plan which involves treating of the infection in ICU and then looking at kidney rehabilitation treatments, which involves a heavy investment and cost.
As a cancer survivor, 10 years ago, my sister has exhausted all her Insurance funds, and now, we as a family are struggling to support her treatment financially, to ensure that she is able to complete her treatment and return to the vibrant and full of love 48 year old that we all know and love.
