The VirtNet Server within Minecraft PE - A Recreation (Fan-made) of the VirtNet in the Mortality Doctrine Book Trilogy of James Dashner
The Project
Hi! My name is James, and I'm trying to start a Minecraft Pocket Edition (Bedrock) server based around the (Extremely Under-rated) book series called The Mortality Doctrine by James Dashner. It will include every single detail within the trilogy about the VirtNet.
The Plan / Concept
The books are based around a really cool concept which I would like to take further by making it a reality within Minecraft. I have a plan to Create the VirtNet: The whole of it, with lots of the contents mentioned in the books; like LifeBlood Deep, where you can meet Michael and Helga, and also hack your way through the game.
- Create the Wake - Have towns where you can choose to live in, and each house has your own private Coffins
- Create the VirtNet Lobby - Have portals to the wake and the various games
- Create the Rest - (LifeBlood Deep, Main Characters, Kaine and the Mortality Doctrine + The Hive)
What I am Able to Re-Create (Mostly already said in Plan)
I have the capability to make all of this a reality: by utilizing plugins I am able to create things such as:
- Tangents and the Characters
- Custom Codes (commands) for hacking
- Hackable server
- Coffins and EarCuffs
- Portals to the Wake and Games
- The Hive, LifeBlood Deep, etc
- Many More to Think of
Why I Need Your Help
I really want to make this, but I am being hindered by a massive roadblock: I couldn't afford all the cost of hiring Builders, the Server bills itself, Domains, and More. I would be extremely grateful for every cent I can get to support the server, and am able to make the server last. Thank you so much!
