This picture was taken in April, 2018, just before my sister, Julie (second from the left), became ill. Since then, this family has been living with their mother/wife being incapacitated to the extent that she could no longer care for them. They became her tireless caretakers as she battled for her life. On Friday, June 28th, Julie lost that battle.

Julie lived a passionate life that touched many, and so many of you beautiful people have reached out asking what you can do to help. There are so many things that we can do nothing about, but there are ways we can be a blessing to Julie's family.

I speak to you as a sister, sister-in-law, and aunt of these precious people. Could you please help bless them so that they don't need to worry about anything except figuring out how to go on without her?

Any and all money given will be used for the following expenses in this order as some needs are more immediate:

1. Clothing for the family

All of them need something to wear to the funeral. Any extra funds went to Julie's care and she has not been able to shop for them for some time. They have all just been making do with what they have. As you can see, my sister dressed her family well. I'd like for them to feel like they can honor their wife/mother with something special to wear on this special day.

2. Travel costs

The funeral service will be held in Wisconsin where Julie lived all of her life except for the past 2 years that they lived in Texas. Texas is a long way from Wisconsin and with a family this large, the travel expenses add up. 

3. Funeral/Medical Expenses

Our appeal honestly is just to cover the clothing and travel costs, but should there be additional monies given, they would all go towards these expenses. I do not know the extent of the need here, but I know there is one.
