Hey, my name is Jon Watson, and I'm reaching out to anyone that knows my oldest brother David Watson...The reason I made this Go Fund Me account is to seek financial assistance, so that we can get him proper representation in Federal court.
As some of you may know Federal attorneys are quite a bit more expensive then state attorneys are...and his family needs the help to hopefully keep him from getting the maximum sentence.
Ever since I can remember I've always looked up to my brother. I always wanted to be just like him. I started getting into trouble at a young age and when ever I needed him, he would be right there to bond me out, or appear at a random court proceeding to make sure I didn't get locked up again, he gave me a place to live numerous times, even gave me job after job so I wouldn't be stuck out ...and I can not thank him enough ..and if I look back I'm sure I'm not the only person who had been helped in some way by David...I am not going to sit here and say he is a saint. Anyone who knows him can tell you that David has definitely burned a few bridges in his time, and mistakes have been made. That is for sure. No one is perfect. I don’t believe that a couple mistakes he made in his life keep him from being a father to his 2 sons Justin and Jeziel…they deserve a father.
I see the toll all this has taken on the people closest to him. It’s not only physically and mentally stressing on his family it’s now began to take a toll on everyone financially…
I remember the last time I seen David before his incarceration. It was Christmas and I remember thinking how he could still be The husband and father he had to be that day…continue to put a brave face on knowing that he was about to face the toughest situation he had ever faced..My heart honestly hurt for him, and I wished at that moment this would all go away..2 days later My brother was arrested and he faces a max sentence. But with proper legal assistance there is some hope. And I won’t let him go down without a fight. David has had the backs of several of his friends…bailing them out of several jams and his family and I reach out to anyone that might be able to give him a fighting chance, I don’t want to see him go away for the maximum sentence. He doesn't deserve that…Our family just wants too say thank you in advance for any help, god bless you!
