Little Willow has finally got her chance to start a
new life in England. A new home and loving family have already been
found for her.
She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped in preparation
for the trip.
Passport at the ready she hopes to board the Happy Bus to the UK
and start her new adventure as soon as possible.

Willow's Story
Willow is a 3 year old female, small sized dog. She is of mixed
breed and light brown and white in colour. She is good with other
dogs.
Willow was rescued by Sejla from the badly flooded Banovici
private shelter, along with 9 other dogs.
Sejla was told of the desperate situation at Banovici, so she
immediately offered to help. Seven dogs subsequently arrived at
Shelter Sapica, and when Sejla realised how small and vulnerable they
were she went herself to Banovici, and returned with Willow, along
with Rex and Bettsie.
They had all been found in a dreadful situation, with hardly any
food or shelter, and once safe at the Shelter Sapica, they all
received immediate veterinary care and medication.

The Shelter
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is situated in Sarajevo, Bosnia and
Herzegovina. It is a private shelter for dogs saved from the streets,
from the dog catchers, from death and from the Praca public shelter.
In Honor’s Shelter Sapica there are dogs that were once left to die,
maltreated by uncaring owners or people on the streets. Here dogs are
cared about, and they are given a chance to recover and have
veterinary treatment. The aim is to find permanent homes for them
through responsible adoption in the UK and other Western European
countries and even the USA.
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is run by rescuers, Sejla Kadric and Fata
Duric. It relies solely on the sponsorship of individual dogs and
donations from kind supporters.
Our supporters are incredibly important to us. Without your
help, we simply wouldn’t be able to help the dogs who need us, or
carry on providing the care that so many dogs in Bosnia depend on.
The fundraising team is here to raise money to fund the work of
the shelter, but we can’t do it without you.
Our supporters help the shelter in many valuable ways – whether
it is the giving of your time to organise on-line events, donating
money, goods or services, sponsoring, fostering or adopting,
campaigning or spreading the word about what we do. However you decide
to help, we are very thankful and grateful for your support,
generosity, compassion and kindness.
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is a private shelter, rather than a
pension, as all the dogs were rescued by Sejla; people do not pay to
keep their dogs there. This is why your donation is so important, as
donations from kind and generous supporters are the only source of income.
Who Am I?
My name is David Genders. I'm one of the UK Administrators for
the shelter. I'm based in Nottingham. I'm also the shelter's web

How will the funds raised be spent?
100% of all funds raised will go to the dogs at the shelter.
Apart from one full time member of staff at the shelter, the rest are
unpaid volunteers. We don't have fancy offices or top of the range
cars. We are very transparent when it comes to where the money goes.
