My name is Khanya, and have been practicing meditation and yoga for the past 20 years and teaching since 2005. I studied various alternative wellbeing therapies in Korea, where I qualified to teach.
I am a Spiritual Life Coach, a certified teacher in Meditation, Tan Tien Breathing and Yoga. I infuse a holistic model in my sessions, private practice and workshops.
I have a media and advertising background which I use to cultivate awareness around a positive lifestyle. etc.
My passion is to empower and uplift the individual human spirit, the community and it’s society.

Many communities in South Africa have overwhelming poverty induced life circumstances. It is my firm belief that this is the beginning of actualizing my desire to facilitate community events which focus on how healing can impact the overall sentiment of the population.”
The meditation and yoga that I teach is not based on any religion. It is an arm of Oriental medicine, which is practiced to keep the breath flowing so as to regulate the energy flow of the mind and the body. Understanding that a stagnation of the breath compromises the vitality of the body, which gives rise to dis-ease.
Although yoga sometimes interweaves philosophies such as Hinduism, Buddhism or Kemetic Sciences, it is not necessary to practice those philosophies in order to practice yoga. It is also not necessary to surrender your own religious beliefs to practice yoga
