Greetings to all! My name is Cache' Dotson.  I am an outgoing, smart and very intelligent young woman. My hobbies are designing, singing, writing, public speaking and making a positive impact on people's lives. I am the CEO of a campaign called the #Free Dante Brazile Movement. The reason I started this campaign is because there is an innocent man whose voice needs to be heard. Back in February 23rd of 2001 there were four men that were involved in a robbery. At the time of the robbery Dante was at home sleep about to get up and get ready for work. On April 26, 2001, the police came to the residence of Dante and arrested him. With Dante thinking he was being arrested for unpaid tickets, he found out the day he was arrested that he was being charged with robbery.  Before he knew it he life took a turn of change. Dante knew that this was a mistaken identity and was determined and ready to fight this case in court. Due to his finances, he was unable to hire a lawyer to represent him in court; therefore he was given a court appointed lawyer. Dante was very displeased with the work that his lawyer did and he did not help him fight the case at all. All because of a mistaken identity, Dante was charged a 30 year sentence for aggravated robbery. None of the men that were involved confessed and told the truth that Dante had nothing to do with the robbery.  Dante made few mistakes in his life; but try to correct his actions. He had a good job and was working hard to provide for his three beautiful daugthers. Dante has already served 14 years in prison and has 16 more years to go. This innocent man is serving time for a crime that he did not commit. There were fingerprints and evidence of all the other men that were actually involved; but none of Dante's. This man was charged thirty years all because of the mistake that a man stated and blamed it on him. The community of Clinton Park in Houston, Texas has been conducting fundraisers. A petition and support letter has been written and signed by the community of Clinton Park to help Dante. My goal is to raise money to help Dante get the best appeal lawyer of Houston, Texas so that we can get his case put back in court. When Dante was first sentenced in 2002 he attempted to file an appeal; but it was denied. He also wrote the mayor of Houston, the NAACP, and the Innocent Project of Texas and never received a response. We feel that he did not get Justice. Dante did not receive a fair trail. People are quick to judge; but are slow to correct themselves. Dante has a story to tell and I Cache' Dotson will be one of the supporters to help tell his story. I hope that all of you that are reading this take what I have told you into consideration and let's all help make a difference. The #Free Dante Brazile Day

A well known performer in the Clinton Park Community of Houston named A.Y. DaWiz dedicated a freestyle performance for Dante. Everyone was very excited and motivated to know that we can make a difference to bring Dante home.

We had awesome volunteers to come from out of town to help support the event by selling delicious BBQ plates, nachos an etc.

Dante's lovley mother stated that she pray that Dante can be released and before God calls her home she pray that she can have all of her boys be together just one more time! She was very excited and happy to see all of the family and friends come together to help support the #Free Dante Brazie Movement!

All of Dante's brothers were so proud to represent him because they know the true innocence of their brother, Dante Brazile. They know that the truth will set him free.

One of Dante's cousins said that he will support him in every way. He is wearing a shirt that was designed to support the #Free Dante Brazile Campaign.

This was a "Word of Inspiration and Thought" that Dante wrote that I felt the need to share with his supporters in his campaign called "Yet I Stand that I thought would be very motivational for the viewers and supporters of the campaign.

                               The World is against me each and everyday.

                     What keeps me going is when I constantly press my way.

                Press my way to stive for excellence and to reach God's hands.

                                    The World is against me; but Yet I stand.

                         I have made many mistakes both great and small;

                          But God has been there to pick me up when I fall.

                             The time is always right to do what is right.

                             That is why I can't lose faith to finish this fight.

                     The fight as in my freedom and know that I can withstand,
                            That the World is against me; but Yet I stand.

                             To improve is to change; for this I have learned;

               It taught me, Dante Lee Brazile, to be consistent, fair and firm.

                        Going on 14 years now, I have been incarcerated.

             This aggressive act has made me what to change and get situated.

              The gift is not given to the swift; but rather to the one who endures.

                   I appreciate the support of my family, love ones, and peers.

                The World is against me; but my love and life is in God's hand.
