We are Bob & Elly Cederoth and our son, Nasko. We struggled for many years with schools, therapists, and psychiatrists to find an awnswer to our son's behavior. At first we were told he had ADHD and he will be fine with medication. Eventually we were told he would be in jail or dead by the age of 18. Life was HELL! He was lost. He couldn't focus and stay on task. He had very poor decision making skills. Friends would say "hey, let's go do this" and he was gone...didn't even think of the consequences. His "friends" would call him stupid, dummy, and used him as the clown of the group, often Bullied. Thankfully, we finally discovered the cause for his behavior, he had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). What you say? How often do kids hit themselves on the head and you watch for symptoms of a concussion? He got up, the swelling went away, he ran off and played, no problem. Right? Wrong! Now we had to find help. The help was Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Amazingly, Hperbaric Therapy also treats many other diseases/injuries; PTSD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Lyme Disease, Stroke, addiction and more. We had to find all this out on our own. The doctors never even thought of this or told us. How many other families have struggled wih their children and just gave up? To look in our son's eyes and see his pain was horrible as a parent.

We want to open a facility, Hyperbaric Centers of SW Florida, that not only offers Hyperbaric Therapy, but educates and raises awareness of the benefits. We want to reach out to everyone and offer them the opportunity for therapy.

The money will be used to purchase the facility (this important due to the regulations for the equipment installation), a 4+1 multiplace chamber and a monoplace chamber (includes all support equipment; compresors, monitoring devices, O2 distribution), fire suppression, safety/regulatory training, office equipment, and website design. Everything must be FDA "cleared".

 We need your financial contributions so we can then help those in need. TBI/PTSD alone is devistating. So many of our veterans are suffering from PTSD/TBI. And, think about this...today's youth find it exciting to see other kids in fights and one of them get knocked out. It's all over You Tube. Our son used to do this to defend himself. How scary is that? Hyperbaric Therapy has demonstrated results. Please share our campaign with everyone that you know. There are many, many, people that can benefit from Hyperbaric Therapy.

Our son has been given a new life. A life we never thought he had the opportunity to have. To hear his school tell us how well he is doing is a blessing. The picture above is before treatment. We will have a new picture at the end of May when we get to visit him at school.
