Hi, my name is Elijah, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

My parents, Edgar Mondero (79) and Cynthia Mondero (72), have been battling chronic lung conditions for years — including tuberculosis, pneumonia, and other complications. Their health has been on and off, and recently, my father's condition worsened and he now requires immediate hospitalization and continuous care.

I live and work in New Zealand, and I haven’t seen my parents since 2016, as we haven’t been able to afford a flight home to the Philippines. Despite the distance, I’ve been sending money every month to cover their maintenance medications. However, the rising medical costs and ongoing treatments have become too much to bear alone.

We’re now at a point where we urgently need help. Right now, we can only afford to get my father hospitalized, though my mother also needs medical care, which we simply can’t afford at this time.

I’m appealing to anyone who can help us — any amount would go a long way toward my father’s treatment, hospital bills, and post-care needs. If we reach our goal, we also hope to get my mother the medical attention she needs.
