My name is Stu, and I am the pastor at Dalby Baptist Church. Three students from our church are part of a school mission trip to Nepal in September. When the target of $3000 is reached i will shave my head and my beard, which I have grown for about 5 years. My church family challenged me to remain clean shaven for twelve months if I could raise more than $5000. I have accepted this challenge, so all that remains is to see what the final amount is.

I am very attached to my beard, but grateful that I can do something to help send these students on a trip that will change their lives.

While on this trip, the students will be able to see the difference the organisation makes in the lives of people rescued from the slave trade. These people ore offered the opportunity to train in many different skills, and through the training and work offered to them, they are able to increase both theirs and their family's standard of living. 

Having been on mission trips myself, I know the impact this trip will have on the students' lives, and am willing to do my part to assist these three to attend this trip.
