After I finished high school, I enrolled in several online courses particularly on the coursera platform. My main goal was to determine a course to settle on for my university degree. I felt very discouraged as a lot of my friends had ambitions and already started school in line with their ambition but I felt lost, nothing seemed intriguing and interesting enough to settle on. I didn’t want to study anything for 3-4 years and not benefit from it. That’s until I settled on psychology. It started as a hobby of just reading but has since turned to a passion and I find myself wanting to know more. Coursera has helped me nurture my passion and deepened my love for psychology. After spending months studying online and reading several books and articles I decided to apply to University to study it officially and I got accepted. I couldn’t be happier of myself and all the support of my friends and family and all those who contributed.

It has been very expensive but more than worth it. I have been working by the side to save up for my tuition fees but because of the 20 hrs work limit as provision of the visa, I am limited. My parents have been supporting me from the one set, but the financial stress is a lot on them, and it breaks my heart to see them struggle. As immigrants struggling to live and adapt in a new country and also struggling to support me through my education. We can not do this alone. I am asking for help to be a part of my journey. I would be so happy if you could donate and save my dream to become a graduate and one day a psychologist and also help me and my family through this difficult time. Thank you.
