Let's get a nice airsoft town field
- David has bought property outside of Sweetwater (about an hour south of Knoxville), and we want to build an airsoft town on the property.
- In order to do this, we need to clear the land and build the town.
- We need to do the following things to clear the land:
- Brush hog
- Pick up branches and logs
- Remove tree stumps
- Burn gathered wood
- Level the ground
- Seed grass
- Here’s how we need to accomplish the land clearing:
- David will handle the brush hogging
- We need to organize work days to pick up branches and burn wood
- We need to gather money to pay someone to remove the stumps. We need about $1,000 for this, or Noah can do it and we rent an excavator for $500.
- David will handle leveling the ground
- We need to gather money to buy grass seed. We will need anywhere from $20-$300, depending on how much of the field David needs to level.
- David and I will handle spreading the seed, or we can do it on a work day.
- Here's how we need to accomplish building the town:
- See the attached drawing for the field plan (coming).
- We need to buy the following materials:
- Plywood/particle board, 2x4s, 6x6s, screws/nails, concrete, decking hardware, railing wood, paint, and roller paint brushes
- We need to gather approximately $3,000 to buy these materials.
- We need to organize work days to build 12 buildings and 2 sniper towers
- What we need from everyone:
- Donate money for purchasing materials.

We need to raise about $3,700.
- If we raise more that $3,700, we can build more and nicer buildings.
- This will cover building, rental equipment, and fundraising expenses for using this website
- By doing donations up front, this also allows us to gauge interest in having the field. If we can’t get enough donations, then we will know that people aren’t interested in having the field, and we will just continue playing in the woods.
- This fundraising platform will not charge your credit card unless we reach the fundraising goal.

- Volunteer for work days.
- I don’t want to schedule work days until we know that we have enough money to build the field.
- I think we can clear the field in one day if we can get several people out there.
- It will likely take several days to build the town fully, but it will go faster the more people who are there.
- Donate money for purchasing materials.
- Of course, this is just donating money and not actually buying
anything, but if you donate, you can get the following perks (each
level includes the perks of the previous levels):
- $100 - Your name on the wall of town founders
- $250 - Name one building
- $500 - Name two buildings (three buildings total)
- $700 - Name a road
- $1000 - Name half the town
- If we all work together, we can have a really fun field.
