Hi my name is Jennifer Gary , and off the advice of a close friend and not knowing what else to do I'd like to ask for help in helping a much less than fortunate friend and his animal companions as he calls them. It makes me tear so bear with me! Never done this before so I'll just get to it, I recently learned of the conditions of Thomas when it was discovered he saved my daughter's dog "potato chip" when we thought he was stolen or the worse, upon arriving to who I now know is Mr Thomas I learned he lived in a car that barely runs and has a shack he uses to nurture lost , hurt and abandoned animals he finds, he humbly calls himself the middleman explaining to me when the "shelters are full and authorities are occupied with crime that's where his importance comes into play.Sadly Thomas recently had a major stroke which he barely survived that left him with limited use of his body permanently,which led to him losing his wife and daughter.Hes expressed to me working with these animals is all he feels he has reason left to live for. He's not comfortable with photos of himself yet or situation so I respect that , he even uses his government assistance to feed the animals, off his own plate. I've never seen anyone sacrifice or have a passion to help people and animals without expectations of return for self. I recently donated a older trailer to Mr. Thomas that has been in my family for some time now . I want to help him expand into municipal shelters because legalities are a factor no matter how much he cares for his animal companions. Id like to help cover expenses for certain credentials needed, supplies for the animals also a building with plenty of space for him to do what he loves . Through all his trials and tribulations I feel helping him progress in all he feels he has to live for is the only thing that will keep him going,he deserves a chance to grow and fulfill his passion.He's the bridge his helpless little friends have till he can get them to the proper vets or find the and return them to their owners sometimes in better condition then when found. I know this would be a dream come true for Thomas as well as give him the desire, motivation and will as well as stability and financial support that can restore his hope of getting his family back as well as providing for all the helpless animals he gives his all to help survive and live the happy life he wishes them to live, I gave him fifty dollars and a ride to the store and all he wanted were items for the care of the animals he rescued and a picture frame for the four pictures he has being two of his wife and daughter and two of his daughter, I began to tear up in the store , it's unbelievable someone like this exists, no bitterness,no resentment , no insults towards anybody . I don't know how someone can preserve in Thomas's conditions and be so successful in caring for animals as well as the people he interacts with but he is, any support whether advice , reference, or financial would be greatly appreciated to help someone who will help all would be appreciated on my part and well deserved on his part as well as appreciated I'm sure. We would love to surprise this man with a fresh start free of the hardships unfairly dealt to him.Thank you to all who will assist in helping me create this positive journey.
