My son Michael is the light of my life. He is kind, attentive, very intelligent and hard working. The list could go on and on for the reasons he deserves and needs this help. 

 Michael was born Angelina Jaden Roby. Yes he is Transgender (female to male), but that does not define him or who he is as a person and loving soul. As my son grew and fully discovered who he was he came to a crossroads. From that crossroads he knew he was meant to be a boy. Michaels life has not been the easiest or best life I would have wanted for my child. We have moved many times in his 15 years and finding friends every time we did move had become more and more a struggle. He would come home often crying because kids have bullied him, it crushed me every time.

 Over the years we have finally settled down and he has been able to build a good group of friends as well as finding a boyfriend who loves him dearly and whom he loves( puppy love I call it). 

 Now as he just turned 15 in April he wants nothing more than to have his name legally changed to reflect who he is now. We have printed out all the forms and paperwork we need for the court but we just can not afford the $435 that is will cost to change his name. If you find it in your heart to help my son with anything that you can, even $1.00. It will add up and he and I will be so very grateful! 

 Unfortunately his father is not in his life and although we do get child support it just isn't enough. Thank you so much for reading this and considering helping my son to have his name changed.
