My name is Aziz Khan Ranzoorpal. I am an Afghan Canadian from Kotkay, Narang District, Kunar, Afghanistan. I have received my high school education from Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute in Ontario, Canada. I have graduated from SAIT Polytechnic Pharmacy Technician-Retail program. I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science from University of Calgary.

I have many dreams and one of them is building a proper girl school in my village Kotkay, Kunar, Afghanistan. I cannot make this dream into reality alone and I need your help. The literacy rate is very low for woman due to war, insecurity and political backlash in many rurals part of Afghanistan. Many girls have the desire to study but they don’t have the proper resources. They go to school in cold, rainy and hot weather. They don’t have sanitary drinking water system. They don’t have enough chairs to sit or the ones they have are broken. They sit on the floor to learn. They don’t have enough teachers. The school is divided into morning and afternoon section because of limited space. The funding for women education is limited, as many people don’t value women education in Afghanistan. The village elders have finally found some land to buy for girl’s school. They need financial help to build the school. Your money will go to the village elders and they will start working on the school. The money will be sent in $5000 amount. The village elders will be required to prove that the money was spent on the school otherwise the money will not go to them. Please donate to my cause. Every dollar counts.
