John has been such a great friend to all of us....always good to lift our spirits with a good laugh, crazy stories, and hosting wonderful holiday parties for us misfits who didn't have a place to go/couldn't make it home for the holidays. This holiday season it's John who could use our support as he goes through extensive surgery and battles cancer. This page was created for those of us who love John and would like to contribute to making his holiday season a little brighter in spite of the tough road he must navigate ahead.
We are collecting donations, (any amount big or small) to help ease the financial burdens of being out of work, and medical expenses that John will face as he recovers from surgery. And hey, it's Christmas.....John is a great guy and wonderful friend who deserves to feel our love and support ALL the time, but especially now!!
We ask that in addition to a donation of ANY amount, you add a one liner about why you love John, or just some kind words of encouragment. These will be typed up with who wrote each comment and printed out and sent to John in a Christmas card with a check written for whatever money we can raise. The card will also have each doners name in it. We are asking that all donations be made by the end of the day next Monday the 15th to make sure I can get all of this together and delivered to him before Christmas Day. Keep in mind, his surgery is the 18th, so feel free to wish him a speedy recovery in your comments.
