Susan has recently moved to a home in Wentworth, Nova Scotia. The move was to spend more time with her daughters and her grandaughters. Her home in Wentworth brought her family together again and allowed her to have a place to call home. She enjoyed the winter working at the ski hill, and watching her granddaughters learn to ski. 

Just as everything was coming together for Susan, the news came in March that she has Ovarian Cancer. She has been unable to work due to life saving treatments and has been dealing with the stress and worry that comes along with this disease. 

Although you will never hear her complain or be down, her life has not been without struggle. She continues to have a positive attitude throughout any challenges she has ever faced and her illness is no different.  She truely is an inspiration to those around her.  

Susan continues to have a positive outlook and her family remains her focus however covering her bills is a constant worry.  Susan is recovering from surgery and getting ready to begin another round of chemotherapy.
