Help Logan Snyder with medical expenses!
Logan Robert Snyder was born February, 2011, two months early via emergency c-section, to Laura Snyder (née Pardue) and Casey Snyder. Logan’s parents are a hard-working, integral part of our community. Laura is a music teacher and choir director in the Royal Valley school district and Casey is a local carpenter.
After Logan was born, he was diagnosed with Intra-Uterine Growth Restriction (IUGR). That means he was not growing properly in the womb, which led to Logan's premature birth and many of Logan's health problems today. Since his birth, Logan has been troubled with a multitude of issues: Cerebral Palsy, holes in his heart, brain hemorrhages, possible seizures, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), encephalomalacia, feeding intolerance, kidney reflux, underdeveloped nerves, cholestatic (elevated) jaundice, Cortical Visual Impairment, pneumonia, enterovirus, hydrocephalus, ileus, and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder.
Little Logan has unfortunately spent more time in the hospital during his young life than at home. Many of these visits have been in Kansas City, which costs the family even more money in travel, lodging expenses, and loss of wages. Additionally, because of his extensive medical needs, the Snyder family must pay for nurses to care for him.
Casey and Laura have sacrificed everything for Logan; however, his needs are still overwhelming. Therefore, the Logan Snyder Support Team was created to raise funds to assist with the medical bills and expenses incurred by the Snyder family.
