Soy Georgina Abud.

Hace un par de años viajamos a la isla y José Manuel y su familia nos recibieron con una generosidad que no se olvida. Hoy queremos devolver un poco de ese cariño.

José Manuel vive en La Habana con sus dos hijas pequeñas. En los últimos meses, los cortes de electricidad se han vuelto cada vez más frecuentes y largos. Esto no solo significa estar a oscuras: significa no poder conservar alimentos, no tener ventilación en el calor, no poder descansar ni vivir con normalidad.

Queremos ayudarles a adquirir un generador de energía solar. Este equipo se carga con el sol y también puede recargarse rápidamente cuando hay electricidad. Les permitirá tener luz, conservar comida y enfrentar mejor los apagones.

Lo más importante: no solo apoyará a su familia. También beneficiará a familiares cercanos y vecinos que hoy viven la misma situación.
