Hi, my name is Gerald or to some of you known as "Roze".
I’m asking for help for my rescue dog Yuri.

Yuri is a 7-year-old bulldog who I rescued from an animal shelter in Nuremberg, Germany back in 2021. He has been struggling with a chronic painful skin disease and ear infections that keep coming back no matter how careful we are. Over the last years his condition became much worse — his skin became strongly inflamed, itchy and infected, and both ears were badly affected. He has been in Treatment with various Doctors and Clinics that costed thousands already.

After my recent Move to Romania in November 2025, we continued visiting a veterinary clinic in Timișoara, Romania,

Tests that had been done on Yuri since December 3rd 2025:

• Blood tests

• Skin and ear cultures

• Antibiotic sensitivity testing

• Multiple examinations

The laboratory confirmed a severe bacterial infection (Staphylococcus schleiferi) and yeast (Malassezia), which explains why the problem kept returning/progressing. This isn’t something that can be fixed with shampoo or over-the-counter medicine — he needs prescription medication and ongoing treatment, probably as long as he lives.

In just the past 30 days, Yuri’s veterinary care has already cost me about 3,919 RON (~$900 USD) for:

• Consultations

• Lab tests

• Cultures and antibiograms

• Antibiotics

• Anti-inflammatories

• Ear medication

• Antifungal treatment

• Rechecks
  
  I’ve have proof of all the vet bills and lab reports so everything is transparent. Yuri is still being treated and will need continued care to prevent the infection from coming back.

I don’t have a regular job and honestly could not leave his Side for the Duration while i would be at work, due to his Itching/Scratching as you can see in the Pictures. My only income at the Moment is streaming on Twitch, which makes it extremely hard to keep up with medical costs like this. Im paying all his Medical Bills with the last Savings I have but once they run out we both will be in big Trouble.
I will always do everything I can for Yuri, but right now I’m struggling with paying for the treatment he needs to stay out of Pain and support his Journey to becoming more healthy.
