¡Esto es un profundo para mi hija Araceli para ayudar ella con su sueño!

Mi nombre es Araceli Ilse y soy bailarina y estudiante, residiendo en Puerto Rico. Desde los cinco años, mi pasión por el ballet se ha transformado en una profunda conexión entre el arte y mi cuerpo. La primera vez que vio esta forma de arte en persona fue en una función de El Cascanueces en mi ciudad natal, Alaska, EE. UU. Quedé fascinada al instante por la fluidez de los movimientos de la bailarina y su notable capacidad para conectar con la música, permitiendo que sus emociones y belleza llenaran toda la sala.

Desde esa experiencia, mi ambición y dedicación por convertirme en bailarina profesional me han brindado una oportunidad increíble para perseguir este extraordinario sueño. Sin embargo, el camino hacia mi meta no ha sido fácil. Transaccionar entre tres escuelas de ballet diferentes ha puesto a prueba mi resiliencia, pero también ha desarrollado mi capacidad de adaptación y de cumplir con diversas expectativas para seguir progresando. Después de mudarme a Puerto Rico, me incorporé a un estudio de danza local, "Centro Danza", en San Juan, dirigido por Laura Valentín. Aquí perfeccioné mi técnica y mi arte con un excelente profesorado y apoyo, que me capacitaron y me guiaron hacia el éxito. Mi aspecto favorito de la danza es la capacidad de expresar y expresar verdaderamente tus sentimientos más íntimos. Ya sea dolor y frustración, o felicidad y alegría; sea lo que sea... puedes expresarlo a través de tus movimientos y tu baile... con cada paso, salto, giro, elevación, equilibrio... el público podrá presenciar y sentir tu emoción y tu verdadero amor por esta forma de arte.

El ballet me ha enseñado el significado del verdadero esfuerzo. A nunca dejar de soñar ni aspirar a una meta específica, sin importar lo que la vida te depare. A seguir intentándolo y alcanzar tu sueño, sabiendo que debes confiar en el proceso y que cada obstáculo solo te hará más fuerte. El ballet realmente me ha abierto el mundo y la vida... permitiéndome finalmente escapar de la realidad y las presiones de la sociedad y ser libre para expresar mis verdaderos sentimientos y amor.

Recientemente fui aceptada en un programa de entrenamiento de élite en la Escuela de Ballet Joffery, ubicada en Nueva York. Esta oportunidad de asistir al programa puede abrirme muchas puertas y oportunidades en la vida para seguir cultivando mi pasión por la danza. Sin embargo, Nueva York es conocida por ser la ciudad más cara del mundo, lo que ha sido un gran obstáculo para mi futuro. El alto costo de la vida, el alojamiento, la comida y las necesidades básicas hacen que mudarme allí sea inalcanzable.

Con su apoyo, este sueño podría hacerse realidad, permitiéndome así crecer y transformar mi pasión hacia el futuro.

This is a fundraiser for my daughter Araceli Ilse to support her dream!

My name is Araceli Ilse, and I am currently a dancer and student residing in Puerto Rico. From the age of five, my passion for ballet has transformed into a profound connection between the art and my body. The very first time I experienced this art form in person was at a performance of The Nutcracker in my former hometown of Alaska, USA. I was instantly fascinated by the fluidity of the ballerina's movements and her remarkable ability to connect with the music, allowing her emotions and beauty to fill the entire room.

Since that experience, my ambition and dedication to become a professional ballerina has gifted me an amazing opportunity to pursue this extraordinary dream. However, the journey towards my goal has not been easy. Transitioning between three different ballet schools has tested my resilience, yet it has also developed my ability to adapt and meet diverse expectations in order to continue making progress. After moving to Puerto Rico, I transitioned toward a local dance studio " Centro Danza " in San Juan.. directed by Laura Valentin. Here I improved my technique and artistry with excellent faculty and support, training and guiding me to success.

My favorite aspect of dance, is the ability to truly produce and expose your intimate feelings.  Whether its pain and frustration, or happiness and joy; whatever it is... you're able to express it through your movements and dance... through every step, jump, turn, lift, balance... the audience will be able to witness and feel your emotion and true love for this art form.

Ballet has taught me the meaning of true hard work. To never stop dreaming or aspiring a specific goal, no matter what life brings you. To keep trying and reaching toward your dream, knowing to trust the process and each setback will only make you stronger. Ballet has really opened up the world and life for me... allowing me to finally escape reality and societies pressures and just be free to express my true feelings and love.

I recently was accepted to an elite trainee program in the ' Joffery Ballet School ' located in NYC. This chance to attend the program, can open many doors and opportunities in my life to keep growing this passion of mine for dance. Yet NYC is renowned for it being the ' most expensive city in the world ' proving a large setback in my future. The high costs of living, room and board and daily necessities, make the ability to move there unattainable.
