I’m Going Blind – Please Help Me Get Sight-Saving Therapy

Hello, my name is Damian, I’m from Poland, and I’m reaching out with deep hope and humility.

A few years ago, I suffered a retinal detachment in my right eye, which required an urgent vitrectomy surgery. Unfortunately, complications followed: cataract, glaucoma, and steadily increasing intraocular pressure. Despite further surgeries, my vision has continued to deteriorate.

Today, I have advanced optic nerve damage in my right eye. The vision in that eye is now extremely limited, and it’s getting worse. Doctors told me that without intervention, I could lose my sight completely.

My Only Chance: Vision Therapy That’s Not Covered by Insurance

I’ve recently learned about a promising treatment called:

▶ Eyetronic Therapy

A specialized 10-day neurostimulation program conducted in Warsaw (Poland), designed to help regenerate parts of the optic nerve and potentially restore or preserve vision.

🟢 The therapy must be repeated after approximately 6 months for full effect.

🟡 The total cost per treatment (including accommodation, travel, eye exams, and medical consultations) is around 40,000 PLN (about €9,200 or $10,000).

🔁 I need two full treatments, which means the total cost will be around 80,000 PLN (approx. €18,400 / $20,000).

Why I Need Your Help

Due to past struggles with addiction and long-term financial hardship, I am unable to afford this treatment on my own. My income is very limited — after deductions from debts, I support my partner and two children on a modest income. We live simply, and I’m doing everything I can to stay on the right path.

I’m currently being treated for clinical depression, and I’ve been clean for over 3 months. I’ve completed two group therapy programs and am waiting to start individual therapy.
This eye treatment represents not just a chance to see again, but a chance to rebuild my life — for myself and for my family.
