My name is Bhakta Aleksandr Oblomiy, I'm an ISKCON brahmachari, a book distributor, and I'll tell you my story in brief.
I was serving in Russia, as well as in India, as a temple devotee in different temples and preaching companies (Moscow, Novorossiysk, Kazan, Irkutsk, and in India - Salem, All India Padayatra,etc.)
I was departed back to Russia due to problems with my visa. I was registered in Tamil Nadu, but at the time govt representatives came, I was in Puri, so they demanded myself to be sent back to Russia.
After that time I was distributing books in different cities in Russia, and while doing so got sick with COVID-19, was lying in the Krasnodar hospital for 1 month. This was especially hard time. Covid affected my health very badly, and I started to suffer more and more from the constant lack of strength, and many of my deseases, that were in a dormant state, so to say, started to give me a big deal of trouble.
SInce that time, April 2020, I'm in a constant need of financial help, donations from devotees and other well-wishers, so that I can get requiered medicines, leeches for the leech therapy I'm undergoing (an ayurvedic treatment called Jalaukacharana, it helps to purify the blood and also treats a lot of differend deseases of organs). I was trying to get sufficient treatment in Russia till this day, when I'm finally writing this message, but it's very expensive. Medicines are 5-7 times more expensive than in India, and the worst thing is Russian cold climate, which just doesn't allow me to recover nicely, I can\t really tolerate cold, being Vata type person.
Dear reader, if you're still reading this, I would like to humbly ask you for some help. I really want to recover soon and continue my service as a book distributor. But I just don't see any chance of this to happen while I\m in Russia. It's very expensive here (in comparison to India), and Russia's winters are for some very hardcore yogis. I really want to come back to India, to be able to execute KC nicely, to get strength to preach the message of Srila Prabhupada as it is.
For this purpose I need to get
1.New international passport (the old one was stolen in russia upon arrival, along with money, dhotis, chadar, and even picture of Ugra Nrisimha from Mayapur). 5k
2. flight ticket to New Delhi - up to 17k(with luggage )
3. X2 student Visa - 8k.
This will take at least 2 months to do, so I have to get
4.medicines for this period of time, and get other basic needs, that is another ~20k every month (unfortunately, this is really so). - 40k
Total ~70k
Please, dear devotees, kindly help me. India is the best(if not the only) place where I can really get my health back, at least to the certain extend. I'm just humbly begging you, with folded hands and with a straw between my teeth - please, kindly help me to serve this mission of Srila Prabhupada. At the present time I'm completely unable to do this.
