All set for HOPE in Action Day on Saturday June 19!

All across Canada, volunteers will be engaging in fun activities to raise funds for families and communities in need.

At our Toronto Central Chapter, all the funds raised will be used for programs in partnership with the Second Chance Foundation and to support single mothers living in poverty or disadvantaged communities. More than 1.5 million women in Canada live in poverty.

How YOU Can Get Active:

In order to get ACTIVE and raise awareness and funds for those in need, you can get involved in fun things such as: walking, running, dancing, knitting, playing basketball, video gaming...lots of options!

Want to join a group?

Join the Toronto Central Team, to walk or jog by the Ravine

Location: Don River Trail, Old Leslie Road (Sheppard and Leslie), near the subway station.
Time: from 9am

We may be apart, but together we can take action to help those in need.

We are all a part of a community and at HOPE worldwide Canada, we create programs and events that engage volunteers to help their fellow community members in need. HOPE in Action is our national event bringing people together on Saturday June 19th to get ACTIVE in order to raise funds for our community programs.

Each Chapter of HOPE worldwide Canada runs programs unique to their community, helping those experiencing food insecurity or without a roof over their heads, supporting children without family units and at-risk youth or helping refugees and newcomers to Canada.
