Triggered: A Groundbreaking Feature Film by Mace Walker

Sex, drugs, violence, suicide, anger, and depression. When a group of troubled teenagers join a secret chat room, a downward spiral into destruction awaits.

This groundbreaking feature film by up-and-coming young writer/director Mace Walker, follows the stories of seven troubled teens struggling to make their way in the unforgiving world that exists within the walls of their high school.

But for these teens, school is just the tipping point. The seeds of their destruction begin at home… with abuse and neglect, secrets, shame... these seeds are often buried, unknown, growing, until something brings them to the surface.

 “Triggered” is an emotional roller coaster of sexuality, self-acceptance, suicide, broken homes, teenage logic and mentality, coping mechanisms and psychological disorder. Mace began forming this story shortly after the tragedy at Parkland in 2016, and now, over two years later, with the backing of investors and the involvement and support of local filmmakers, the majority of Triggered has been filmed.

The goal is to raise an additional $4,000 to cover expenses for the remainder of the scenes to be filmed in May. This cost includes travel expenses for out-of-state actors, crew, location, SFX makeup, and more.
