I am a lone rescuer and single mother of two teenagers. I live in Belgrade Serbia.

Our story is not an easy one. It is complicated.

My son has diabetes type I for 10  years and a mental health issue since 2016

He does not leave home at all except going to a hospital.
Daughter finished medical school and finally found the job after volunteering but still working for peanuts.
I do have a permanent job but wages are much smaller then costs in my country. I do try to do a second job when my time, health and obligations allow that, but all this is not enough to cover all expenses I am dealing with.
I am struggling with accumulated electric and central heating bills over the years, so despite that, I regularly pay monthly obligations, I am actually paying off the interest while the main debt is still there….

That is why I am asking for help which can provide cats in our home medical care and quality of living.

Please note that there are thousands of mistreated cats and kittens suffering on the streets of Serbia. Most cities are without safe shelters.

I have been taking care of cats, and for almost my entire life many cats have passed through my life and they all left an indelible trace in my heart. It would be very difficult to enumerate them all, from my earliest days as a child when I was trying to correct the human injustice done to these beautiful beings. And I am still trying, more or less successful.

In the past two years, we have lost two precious furbabies Meda, and Zak due to Felv.Miss them terribly each and every day

Currently, there are eight cats in our household: Cica, Antonia, Smaug, Ted. Billy, Bonnie, Vila and Rose.

Each of them is saved from the street and certain death except Antonia -she is saved from one big shelter. Two of them Cica and Antonia are seniors.

Some of them have chronical issues Cica(senior)- liver. Antonia(senior) gum disease, Smaug skin and liver-therefore we need special food, supplements, meds, vet examinations every month.

I have tried to make a list of monthly special needs (regular food and litter not included) and this is more-less this (not blood tests every month, but we have vet visits etc) :

• Probiotics package of 15 capsules is 5 euros, I give Cica regularly, and for other cats when needed so It is for two of them - 20 euros per month
• B-complex -5 euros per month (package of 30 dragees cost 2, euros, I give them to Smaug and Cica every second day)
• -Catosal injections- 20 euros
• Vitamin E (for Cica and Smaug for liver) -5 euros
• Calo-pet- 15 euros
• Stronghold for Smaug (he has skin problems also) -10 euros
• Hepatiale Forte for Cica and Smaug- 20 euros
• Meds ranitidine, famotidine for vomiting (Cica often vomits)
• -10 euros
• -Dry food hepatic (Cica) -30 euros
• Mono protein food Smaug -10 euros
• Blood test for Smaug and Cica -50 euros

Total: 180 euros
