Lewis Peck 40 yr. old - A life long resident of Phoenicia, NY died Monday February 6th from fatal injuries he suffered in an accident involving a wood-processing machine,.
Lewis is survived by his fiance, Rhonda Hurlbert & his 14 yr old daughter Morgan. He was their sole provider.
Any donation you can give to help with funeral and other expenses would be greatly appreciated.
All these donations will be deposited to the Key Bank Branch - 53 Main Street Phoenica - in an acccount set up for Rhonda & Morgan. Donations will also be accepted at Key Bank. Checks made out to: LEWIS PECK MEMORIAL FUND.

Lewis E. Peck, 40 of Rt. 28 Phoenicia
died Monday February 6, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained
in a logging accident. Lewie was a native and life long resident
who was born in Kingston on August 27, 1976 son of Lois Kaufman
Peck and the late Amasa Peck. A
graduate of Onteora High School, he was a woodsman and logger,
who had a keen sense of nature, and could fix most everything.
As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He
had been very active with the draft horse community all across
the US, however his passion had become working with his daughter
Morgan, and the mini horses. He had been a member of both the NY
and CT Pulling Ponies and Mini Horse Association. He was a
kind-hearted individual with a' can-do' spirit who loved his
family.
Surviving in addition to his Mother Lois, are his
fiance Rhonda Hurlbert, daughter Morgan Peck,
sister Charlotte Peck of ME, Uncle Alfred
Peck, His in-laws, and several cousins also
survive.
A Service to celebrate the life of Lewie will be
held on Sunday at 2pm at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main
St. Phoenicia with the Rev. Ralph Darmstadt as celebrant. Spring
interment in the family plot at the Shandaken Rural Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 12 noon to 2pm prior to
the service.
