WHO WE ARE
Purr Haven Cat Sanctuary is a no kill shelter/sanctuary that is
dedicated to the rescue, foster and rehoming of abandoned, stray and
abused cats. We are currently working on registering Purr Haven as a
non-profit organization to make everything official.
Currently, majority of our rescues are newborn kittens or pregnant
cats who we see on our streets. Most of the pregnant cats we've
rescued have given birth already and we are preparing them to be
adopted into loving homes. The mama cat will be spayed and will be
rehomed as well.
OUR HISTORY
Purr Haven was conceptualized in 2014 by siblings Nyree, Ces
and Ivor. We have been rescuing the cats we found on the streets for
some time now. Most of our rescues we've already adopted in
our respective homes. Currently, We started rehoming some of the
rescued kittens we have rescued as newborn kittens. We took care of
these tiny kittens and showered them with love until they were healthy
and big enough to be adopted into loving homes. We are not a big
organization, we are just people whose hearts break in seeing these
poor beings abandoned and left to die on the streets. But we have big
dreams and vision of one day being able to buy a piece of land and
build our dream sanctuary.
WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
Currently, we are located in Manila, the bustling capital of the
Philippines.
OUR PLEA
With more than 20 cats and kittens under our care, the costs of
running our humble rescue shelter and sanctuary is getting big and the
time has come for us to ask for help.
We are appealing to your kind hearts to help us raise funds for
our daily operations which includes buying cat food, cat litter,
vitamins and vet bills. A part of the funds we raise will also be put
aside to save for buying a piece of land where we can put up cat runs
and a proper shelter for our rescues and fosters. For now the amount
we put in this fundraiser is what we need on a monthly basis to keep
our rescues and fosters fed and healthy.
Purr Haven is not a big organization. Our 3 human team is
composed of people who are passionate about cats, we are bounded by
our hearts for these poor,beautiful beings.
The cats and kittens are currently housed in our
respective homes, inside our own rooms, uncaged, free to play and run
around as much as they can in a small space, and showered with so much love.
We promise to post updates in terms of how we use the help you
give us. Everything will be accounted for and photos of the kitties
will also be posted.
