We need your help to give our athletes the opportunity they have earned to compete on a National platform at the USATF Junior Olympics!
OUR GOAL:
Qualify and compete in the 2014 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships July 21-27, 2014.
Our Greyhounds train year round for this moment....seven days of competition amongst the best youth track and field athletes and teams our country has to offer. This year Houston, Texas will host the USATF Junior Olympics.
THE TEAM:
The Greyhounds are one of the most diverse teams in America, ethnically and economically, boasting both boys and girls, ages 6-17, representing over 10 different ethnic backgrounds. We are a small team of 20 exceptional athletes, 17 who just qualified for Regionals and 12 of those who are expected to qualify for Nationals.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
It’s a long way from NYC to Texas! The money we raise will provide travel expense scholarships for our team members. Your contribution will ensure that every member of our team who qualifies can afford to travel to Texas to compete at a National Level and gain exposure for future College Scholarship potential.
