Today, on this very day, I lost a fellow service member. A brother, linked by our sacrifices made while serving our country. Today is the day that he took his life due to PTSD combat suicide. 

My hope is that no more service men and woman have to suffer through excruciating painful memories or emotional disturbances that are so disturbing that they take their own life. Randy didn't have to die, he could have lived if given the proper treatment. Instead he laid dead for 33 days in his apartment until the Army reported his death to his mother. 

My hope is that my brothers and sisters still out there fighting the good fight are able to return home and receive the proper treatment they need and deserve. A way that we can do that is to help by raise money for OperationI.V., a nonprofit organization that Roxann Abrams founded in honor of her son. An organization that has created a multidimensional approach to treating PTSD and TBI injuries. An approach that will work.
