Val is in need of a life extending heart surgery due to a genetic disorder. Mayo in MN is the only place that has a surgeon qualified and willing to do this surgery.

Val ironically was a cardiac nurse who loved her job and helping people. She has been threw a kidney transplant, held MS at bay, and now this. Hopefully she will be able to overcome this as she has with the others. 

This surgery could add 5 to 10 years to her life, but it needs to be done soon. Me and the kids, Ashley and Nick, have had 4 years with this special women and hopefully, with some help we can have a few more. This women has taken on the role of mother to 2 and done very well at it for someone who swore they did not want kids.

Surgery is scheduled for May 14th at Mayo in Rochester,MN. This page is for the travel expense and 2 week required post op stay. 

Those who know me know I am very private person and always find a way to make things work. This is one time I will say I need help on this one. So, with a little help, hopefully this will have a positive outcome.
