I need help. It started as pain in my eye, it affected my vision, it appeared as scaly skin with fissures, it was painful and who knows what it is now.

It was first diagnosed as actinic keratosis then a year later as peri keratosis. I was told there was nothing the Dr could do. I removed a tumour and blood clots myself.

A year later I was told I was misdiagnosed.

Another Dr I didn't know came into my work and told me most people don't survive that. He didn't say what "that" was, and that was before I went unconscious and had three more concussions.

Two weeks ago I collapsed again. I am traumatized by the lack of healthcare I haven't received when I have gone to hospital by ambulance.

T here is a Dr shortage and I don't have one. I have been on a waitlist for over a year.

I haven't had any real medical help in 5 years, and last fall after the house I was renting flooded on Oct 19, the landlord didn't fix anything and I got sicker everyday from the moulds.

I know what the moulds were because I had private environmental testing done. Everything fell further apart.

I am and have been holding on by a thread since.

I went to arbitration, I moved, I stayed in a government transition house, it made me sicker and I chose to live in my car in the snow in February until I found a new place to rent.

I am grateful I found a place though it turned out not to be safe.

I was physically assaulted, punched, choked and thrown to the ground.

The police didn't press charges though the man was evicted.

It was extremely stressful while he moved out which took 3 weeks before he was off the property.

From last April til now I went 8000.00 in debt in my credit card and overdraft just staying alive.

Today the Ministry of Social Services and Poverty Reduction just took 300.00 of the 1060.00 I had to live on so guess what?

I won't have enough to pay rent and could face being homeless again in ten days without your  help to get me out of this perpetual poverty trap the government has set.

The Ministry of Health sent my reimbursement request back and it's a bloody bureaucratic nightmare, depending on which worker answers the phone, writes the unsigned letters of denial, or is at the service window.

I need a Dr but there is a shortage and the one I had didn't want to take a complicated patient.

I have been on the waitlist for over a year and dropped off twice.

My historical medical files are missing, and no one knows anything.

How convenient for the government, as it's impossible to get support from the Social Worker for disability without medical history documents.

I am tired, I am sick and in pain daily and I try to keep it to myself but I need help with the debt before I am completely sunk.

I am also grieving and I can't even share why because someone is missing and doesn't know of the loss yet. I can't help financially with the funeral because I am beyond tapped out.

My heart is breaking and hope is fading.

I need help now with daily living expenses, medical tests and support that I will have to pay out of pocket, including dental work I can't afford. The new federal government program doesn't cover the actual costs the Dentist's charge.

I could go on and on and show you more photographs and paperwork that would make your head spin off but I don't want you to suffer.

Suffice it to say the government has ripped off Veterans since 2002 and I could qualify for relief from when my Veteran dad passed away in 2013, but I can't afford to pay the government for the bloody death certificate or for a lawyer to fill out the next step forms after that. They literally sent my dads death certificate request back and requested payment, even though the government worker said it would be ok and submitted them for me.

It's mentally and emotionally exhausting.

The couple hundred dollars that I was gifted last month, was just clawed back leaving me short for rent this coming month, and the credit card company is surely going to come calling again soon.

I fought so hard these past five years to regain my health after taking care of others, and being ripped off hard earned  pay by another government department.

I have no other option then to plea for help here, from you, from anyone that happens to read this message, and who isn't struggling to stay afloat and to stay alive themselves.

If you can help, please do.

I am begging and if I could work again now I would be out pounding the pavement for a job.

Every dollar helps but I literally need it all in one month. This month, in the next 15 days, so it isn't clawed back again in 16 days. It's my only way out and forward.
