For the past 6 weeks and continuing our pitbull, Zeus, has had so many issues. From a cough that had now lasted 7 weeks (originally diagnosed with allergies then upon xray the next week came the diagnosis of pneumonia). Which resulted in antibiotics and steroids. The following week after pneumonia was diagnosed, he started having seizures. They did blood work. His levels were fine. 2 days after that emergency vet visit he started limping. Another vet visit for the 4th week. Upon xray again they were not concerned and he was put on pain relievers. He isn't putting any weight on the leg and it is now really swollen. We are doing our best to get him the best care we can get him to figure out what is going on. We adopted him in December and he's been our travel partner along with our hiking buddy. He didn't show any signs of distress during our last hike in Tennessee in March. He ran and played and cuddled. My active baby is now just laying around the house with little to no appetite. He does go outside to go to the bathroom and to lay in the sun just to be outside. He's our best friend and our sons best friend. Any help with medical bills, medication, etc would be greatly appreciated. We saved him from the shelter when his previous owner had had him tied to a porch for weeks and luckily he landed with us. With your help we can continue getting our pit the care he needs. We can upload any updates to new diagnosis, medications and visits. Please we are doing everything we can and we just want our active hiking buddy back to normal. He's 3 years old and the best dog we could have ever asked for.
