About Me

My name is Olesya. I’m an artist and a volunteer. I was born and spent all my life in Kyiv, Ukraine. When Russia started a full-scale war a few ago І decided to stay in Kyiv to help as much as I can. 

Since the early days of the war, I joined independent Ukrainian media and every evening I prepare daily news summary about the war in Ukraine in order to spread the truth. As during the day I still have a few spare hours I want to use my skills as an artist and a manager for extra help.

My Aim 

Together with other Kyiv volunteers I want to raise money to build an additional animal shelter for pets who survived after fighting in Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka and other towns in the Kyiv region.   

Currently volunteers are searching for the survivors from bombed buildings and in the streets. Some dogs and cats continue to live on the ruins of their homes after their owner's death. Many of them are with injuries and first of all they need medical help. After that they need to live somewhere but shelters are already full.

Any amount will be welcomed with the big gratitude.
