Enzo, a sweet “stray” cat whom i met in my rounds of feeding the starving cats of the social club I belong to. Those cats used to feed on leftovers of the restaurants inside the club compound yet since Apr2020, everything was closed due to the lock-down caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
Enzo would rush towards me, follow me while feeding his feline friends, rubbing against my legs demanding some petting instead of kibble. I would have to talk him in to start eating some food.
During the past few months, we noticed that the cats we used to feed were disappearing! We asked around and found out the shocking truth.. the club management hired a pest control company to trap the cats and get rid of them far away from the club compound. My heart was broken for those cats whom I got attached to. I just couldn’t bear losing Enzo who was in a high risk considering his super friendly nature which would make him easy to capture.
I decided to rescue him from that ugly fate. Then, I boarded him in a vet clinic and got him fully vetted. I would have loved to take him home and keep him but I already have many cats of my own and it would break the heart of my closest paralyzed fur baby.
Enzo is such a love bug, super friendly and affectionate.
Enzo has a chance of a forever home in Canada! He has been fully vaccinated, dewormed, deflead and will be neutered next week. All those costs as well as boarding fees were covered by me so far yet Enzo needs funding for his travel expenses. Let’s help this boy reach the loving home he deserves.
