We found this poor emaciated, sick, and homeless cat wandering along a street in Kimberly. He came right up to one of our volunteers in what we know was a desperate plea for help. We named this sweet boy Goose and took him to the vet immediately where he was diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection, fleas, and more seriously he also had a red polyp mass completely blocking his left ear canal and sinus cavity. The sinuses and ear were full of infection due to the blockage. Our vet recommended surgery after Goose could gain some weight and be on antibiotics for several days prior.

When Goose was well enough the surgery was performed and the mass was successfully removed. As soon as Goose woke up from surgery the staff noticed that he was sniffing the air for the first time in a very long time!

Now we urgently need your help friends! We would appreciate ANY donation amount that you might be able to make for Goose. No amount is ever too little and makes the difference between life and death for these forgotten and neglected animals. We rely soley on donations from generous people like you that want to lessen the suffering that homeless animals are faced with everyday. We must pay for Goose's surgery if we are to continue saving lives. Thank you so much for your support!

Note: We take credit or debit card donations as well! Just click on the "buy as a guest" link at the bottom of the final paypal payment page and you will be prompted to enter your information. Payments can also be made directly to Green Acres Vet in Twin Falls at 208-734-2711 under the account Friends of Burley Shelter Animals for Goose.

*Any donations made in excess of Goose's vet bills will be applied to another rescue in need.
