In 2020, my world changed forever when I lost my father to sudden cardiac arrest. He was not only my father—he was my best friend, my mentor, and the person I could always count on. His loss left a hole in my heart that has never healed.

As I struggled through that grief, life dealt another difficult blow. A painful divorce left me financially devastated. Years of hard work and savings disappeared into legal expenses and the costs of starting over. At the same time, housing prices were rising beyond reach, making homeownership impossible. Like many families, we turned to renting, and a large portion of my income now goes toward keeping a roof over our heads.

I have since remarried and am committed to building a better future for my wife and our family. However, finding stability has not been easy. My wife has faced challenges securing consistent employment, and despite my best efforts to provide, the rising cost of living has made it increasingly difficult to stay afloat.

Then came another setback.

Earlier this year, we were involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in approximately $6,000 in repair costs. We worked hard to recover financially and began putting the pieces back together. Just one month later, another driver attempted a U-turn directly in front of us and collided with the passenger side of our vehicle.

The damage was so severe that our vehicle was declared a total loss.

Because of its age and value, the insurance settlement was not enough to replace it with a reliable vehicle. Overnight, we lost the transportation we depend on for work, medical appointments, therapy appointments, grocery shopping, and everyday necessities.

For us, a vehicle is not a luxury. It is a lifeline.

Without dependable transportation, our ability to maintain employment, attend important appointments, and continue rebuilding our lives is at risk. We have exhausted every option available to us and are now humbly asking for help.

Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will go directly toward obtaining reliable transportation and helping us regain stability during one of the most difficult chapters of our lives.
