Hello everyone,

My name is Juan, and together with my wife, we recently took one of the biggest steps of our lives — we bought our apartment. It represents years of work, savings, and the dream of building our future together.

Unfortunately, shortly after moving in, we experienced a serious plumbing failure in the water system that caused significant damage. The water affected our bathroom furniture, walls, and part of the flooring. What should have been a time of excitement and new beginnings quickly turned into stress and unexpected expenses.

Because the issue involves water damage, the repairs cannot wait. If left untreated, it could lead to structural deterioration and mold.

The total repair cost is approximately $1,000 USD — an expense we were not prepared for so soon after purchasing our home. After investing most of our savings into buying the apartment, this unexpected situation has put us in a difficult financial position.

We’ve done our best to manage it on our own and reached out to close contacts, but we still need help to cover the remaining amount.

We are facing this challenge together, doing everything we can to protect the home we worked so hard to achieve. Any contribution, no matter the size, would truly help us restore our space and bring peace back into our home.
