On December 20, a devastating fire completely destroyed my brother’s home in Bashkortostan, Russia.
The house burned down entirely, leaving a family of five — including one child — without shelter, belongings, or basic necessities just days before the winter holidays.
Everything they had built over many years was lost in a single night. Clothes, documents, furniture, and personal memories were all destroyed by the fire.
The family is now forced to rely on temporary help from relatives while trying to rebuild their lives from zero. Winter conditions make this situation especially difficult and urgent.
We are raising $5000 to help them:
- secure temporary housing
- purchase essential clothing and household items
- begin rebuilding their home
- restore basic living conditions for the child and family
