Meet Zoro and Shep: Our Long-Term Residents

Zoro and Shep are two remarkable dogs currently residing at Austin Pets Alive! With a cumulative stay of over 1,500 days in our shelter system as of December 4, 2025 (Zoro: 708 days, Shep: 882 days), these incredible companions have captured the hearts of many.

I have dedicated numerous hours to training and helping both dogs acclimate to their muzzles, and I am thrilled to report that the hard work has begun to yield positive results! There are now potential adopters interested in welcoming both Zoro and Shep into their forever homes. Contribute now to send them off in style!

As we prepare for their new journeys, I would love to send them off in style with colorful, durable, and personalized muzzles that meet their unique needs.
