My name is Simone, and I never imagined I would be here, writing
this message, praying that
someone out there will care enough to
help me hold on to life.
I have a tumor pressing against my spine, and
the pain is unbearable, like fire that never
goes out. For years,
I’ve tried to fight it through therapy, medications, and endless
hospital visits.
I’ve spent nights crying, trying to stay
hopeful, even when my body feels like it’s giving up.
But now,
I’m running out of strength, and I’m running out of time.
I can barely move without pain. I can’t work like I used to, and
my world is slowly collapsing
around me. Medical bills
piling up, rent overdue, and my unfinished room that feels
more like
a broken shelter than a home. The floor is cracked, the
walls are bare, and the wires hang
loose.
I live here with
my little cat, Ghosty, who’s the only reason I still
smile some days. Together, we
fight to survive one painful day at
a time.
