Meet Louise and Lukas
Louise is a young single mother in Monrovia, Liberia. Against
all odds, she has already made one of her dreams come true: she opened
a small hairdressing shop. Step by step, she is building a better
future for herself and her three-year-old son, Lukas.
But starting a business in Liberia is difficult. The income from her shop is just enough to cover food and the most basic needs.
Why We Need Your Help
Lukas is now three years old. It’s time for him to go to school,
to learn with other children, to develop his social and emotional
skills, and to take his first steps on the road of education. Early
education is vital for personal growth, but Louise cannot afford the
school fees of 300 USD per year.
