My name is Burkhard Meyer, and I am a civil peace worker living in Liberia since January of this year. My heart beats for the children here.

I want to give them a chance for a better future through education, care, and empowerment.

I have seen with my own eyes how difficult it is for many children to attend school because of poverty or the loss of parents. That’s why I am committed to helping Denise and Augustine find their place in the classroom and begin their journey toward hope and opportunity.

 They have now found a safe home, but without urgent help, they cannot pay their school fees and risk missing out on their chance for education.

Their Story
