Luchando contra la insuficiencia cardíaca – Apoya mi camino hacia la recuperación

Fui ingresado en el hospital después de experimentar síntomas severos. Una serie de pruebas revelaron que tenía una insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva grave con una fracción de eyección baja, hipertensión pulmonar y retención de líquido en los pulmones. El equipo médico actuó rápidamente, eliminando el exceso de líquido y estabilizando mi condición. Me realizaron un cateterismo cardíaco, una resonancia magnética cardíaca, una thoracentesis guiada, ecocardiogramas y otros exámenes para determinar el mejor tratamiento. Finalmente, me colocaron medicamentos que me salvan la vida y un estricto plan de tratamiento, incluyendo un chaleco desfibrilador para protegerme de un paro cardíaco.

Pero mi lucha está lejos de terminar. La recuperación tomará meses y, por órdenes de mis médicos, no puedo trabajar durante este periodo. Esto significa que no tengo manera de cubrir los crecientes costos de mi hospitalización, medicamentos y atención continua, los cuales se estima que alcanzarán los $25,000 solo en este primer año.

Por favor, no he podido trabajar desde el episodio; necesito de su amable ayuda.

Fighting heart failure – Support my recovery journey 

I was admitted to the hospital after experiencing severe symptoms. A series of tests revealed that I had a severe congestive heart failure with low ejection fraction, pulmonary hypertension, and fluid retention in my lungs. The medical team acted quickly, removing excess fluid and stabilizing my condition. I underwent a Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac MRI, guided Thoracentesis, Echocardiograms, and other exams to find the best course of treatment. Finally, I was placed on life-saving medications and a strict treatment plan, including a defibrillator vest to protect me from cardiac arrest.

But my fight is far from over. Recovery will take months, and per my doctors’ orders, I am unable to work during this period. This means I have no way to cover the mounting costs of my hospitalization, medications, and ongoing care, which are expected to reach $25,000 in this first year alone.

Please, I have not been able to work since the episode, your kind help is needed.
