Hello dear reader, 

My name is Zackary A. My pronouns are they/them and I'm a nonbinary trans person. I also live with debilitating disabilities. 

In April of 2023, after months of all over body pain, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. This condition effects my entire body, causing joint pain, nerve pain that makes my fingers feel pinched or burned, and extreme exhaustion. 

I have undergone many tests, and have sought several specialists to figure out more about my condition and its causes. 

One common cause of fibromyalgia is trauma and stress, due to the damage to the nervous system. 

I am currently on two mood stabilizers in the hopes that it will mitigate the effects of stress. 

However, so far the only thing that makes any meaningful change in my daily life is medical marijuana. I order edibles indica from my local dispensary, or online. 

I am in the middle of fighting for disability benefits, where I will then receive roughly $900 a month if I am approved. 

Despite not being able to work, I still try to contribute to society and help others. 

I am working on figuring out how to garden without over exerting myself. 

Currently, my biggest project is to compile and present YouTube tutorials in order to help educate others about renters rights, building, gardening, farm animals, and more.

I also provide safe spaces online for my fellow disabled peers to receive community support.

I am a very driven human rights advocate and I take current events seriously. I will always do what I am able in order to help my fellow humans. All I hope for in return is a little help with my quality of life.

When I'm not compiling YouTube videos into playlists, complaining on TikTok, or helping my friends, I practice my art.

Other quality of life changes that I need are: 

A dishwasher (either to repair my current or buy a new one)

A microwave (ours went out in December of 2023)

New socks, underwear, and clothing

Hygiene (toothbrushes, toothpaste, and natural soap)
