We are Larry & Deborah; you may know of us already or even been part of helping us, a time or two, as we’ve struggled through homelessness and pennilessness brought on by unaddressed by proper authorities financial and real estate crimes...starting in 2000.

“Necessity is the mother of invention” as is said, while homelessness and poverty has become America’s motto, it seems, and until someone in leadership does something, other than talk, we are on our own; hence we are launching “TheMentor” a website that brings those who have and want to help, together with those whom have lost and need assistance in getting back onto their feet.
Our struggle has not ended, but we believe it will as our God/Universe given idea will help many and hopefully us as well.
It’s simple really, each recipient of course will need something different in the long run, I’d assume, once they’re in a home, have food, showers,employment and a viable way to get there. A number of mentors each assisting in at least one of these endeavors will solve the immediate issue instantly! The recipient can then take care of “in the long run” on their own, while having been supported in getting the essentials to life.
This concept fills a need that escapes anyone or family that ends up on the streets of this country homeless and penniless.
The biggest problem that presents to citizens such as ourselves, and many others, is the lack of foundation to rebuild their lives...the missing essentials to life. Add illegally destroyed credit, and without our fellow human beings assisting, there’s little hope a homeless victim will ever get out of the streets; the credit bureaus continue to evaluate a crime victim’s credit with no mercy, in fact did you know this unaddressed by proper authorities financial and real estate crimes are some of the reasons CPS takes our children away from loving parents, instead of supplying assistance?
For instance; how does one retain employment when they live in the car or streets; have no money for gas in their car to get to an interview, or funds by which to pay for a shower at a truck stop, if they can indeed get there?Then, in spite of all these challenges one gets employment anyway, by some miracle, but doesn’t get paid for a week or two? How does anyone survive this?
Many merely get fired before the paycheck even comes. On top of this the lifestyle of survival under the homeless and penniless curse is an all day endeavor of constant effort and work; there’s actually little time to be employed. One is too busy finding a way to get fed and then walking across town for miles to find a cheap motel to check into rather than sleep outside in below zero temperatures.
It’s a never ending loop of homelessness and poverty that never ends while the media lies about what is causing it all;>((( Many homeless and poverty stricken citizens have no families because of not only their embarrassment of their circumstances, but their family’s disgust that they are connected to a homeless penniless relative...then there’s our story, where greedy corrupt families actually commit the crimes and hope you’re dying in the streets;>(((
No one should be embarrassed for being homeless and penniless, but like psychopaths, the media blames the victims...the public believes the news because they have no barometer by which to gauge the issue differently.
Most citizens living in this kind of poverty have been demoted to begging for help of a society who has no patience for their plight...citizens who think this will never happen to them, and the fault belongs to the victims. I therefore invite these citizens to visit my blog; see where we came from, what threw us into the streets, and what we’ve been through to rebuild our lives.

If you haven’t been attacked by this type of homelessness and poverty, caused by the injustices in our courts, authorities and government, then you may not be aware? By the way, few churches or charities do anything to help other than offer a community meal, once a day or once a week, which gets donated by a grocery store, or an occasional voucher for $10.00 to $20.00, once a month, also donated by a business, while the government funds go into the volunteer’s pockets.
We have seen this from California to Texas and many states in between. What’s more, as my father used to say, “Nobody get’s out of this life alive”Added to this quote today “Nobody gets through this life without crimes attacking them to the point of destroying their lives as they knew them, while the authorities do nothing.” Many citizens land in the streets along with their MBA’s; law degrees, medical licenses, history degrees, engineering degrees, contractor’s licenses, etc.
Those of you still standing in your strength, owe it to your fellow human being to share what you can at least once in this lifetime. Do you own a business seeking to hire a new engineer, for instance? How about checking out our“TheMentor”website for those who could fill this position?
Of course we need donations to get the website up and going, which we can create ourselves, with volunteers who have more expertise with such than we do. We have some experience, which will save money.
I believe I can safely promise you, rarely will you ever find another employee with the same work ethics as from our website when it’s launched; these citizens know all the ugly ropes in this life and a permanent job applying their strengths, is a long awaited miracle, and all it took you was the time to peruse, join and take advantage of an opportunity to help yourself and another fellow, talented human being on our website,TheMentor.
Additionally, can you imagine what you might learn, from we the victims, which will protect you and your family from the same problems we have experienced? We are a goldmine of knowledge you won’t get from the media! The truth always lies with the experienced victims.

Mission Statement;
To eradicate homelessness in our lifetime by bringing together many citizens with strengths they can share with those citizens that need them to assist in healing their life; from apartments, rent free for a number of months, until the once homeless citizen is able to pay their rent by the strength of another member of “TheMentor” hiring them in their chosen field...where their strength is evident, to still another mentor member offering free dental, medical, chiropractic and alternative medicine if needed, to still another, perhaps a car dealer, donating a well running car, to an insurance agent giving free insurance for a number of months etc.
In other words citizens will donate from their strengths, to support the homeless citizen in restoring their life and personal strengths. And the support needed will all come simultaneously, through a number of mentors so the process has every good chance of succeeding.
With this kind of support it’s not unheard of to help turn a citizen’s life or that of a whole family’s, around in a matter of weeks; even days.
Donators/Mentorswill remain in total control of their assistance while in relationship with their recipient. The relationship will be between a mentor member and recipient member. Our website is here as a vehicle joining a mentor and recipient together, starting with bio’s listed on the website. Mentors can help a recipient as many or few times as they choose. The primary goal is for each recipient citizen to attract as manymentors, as needed, to smoothly restore their lives, until they can sustain the momentum on their own. TheMentor is able to give of their time and strengths in civilized ways; in other words not be overwhelmed with their time or recourses. Some mentors may even find viable investment opportunity?
Most homeless and penniless citizens are highly educated, talented once successful people who lost their homes and funds by unaddressed by proper authorities financial and real estate crimes committed against them, or delivered home from the military and forgotten once they took their uniform off;>((
Imagine, if you will, an adult steadying a two wheel bicycle, as the child learns to steady the two wheels on their own. In TheMentor’s case it’s more about helping to steady our homeless recipient, in one area, long enough for them to get their first paycheck so they can steady their lives on their own.
No one can work their way out of homelessness, today most often brought on by unaddressed by proper authorities financial and real estate crimes or returning home from the military, by being fed once a day at the church across town, and thrown a ten dollar bill once in awhile as they beg on the corner. First of all it takes all day, in a homeless citizen’s life just to survive in this manner, wasting years of their otherwise contribution to society, with their strengths. Most live like this for years, when all they need is support in a number of life issues, simultaneously, for a short time and they’re on their own. Having one mentor for each discipline, spreads the giving and time spent helping amongst many. And with our program, there will constantly be new mentors joining, wanting to help; knowing what they’re contributing is actually arriving where needed; not constantly contributing to charities and churches, where they have no idea where their funds are going.
We have found many of the contributions in these cases, go right into the employees pockets.
Being homeless ourselves, we have learned there has never been help long enough, or substantial enough or simultaneously enough to get us on our feet, yet we are grateful for what individuals have been able to share. They have kept us alive.
This causes one to wonder where $165,000,000.00 allotted by our government, in California alone to help the homeless went, if all they can do is put up tents, most likely donated,under a freeway as help for those they originally made homeless in the first place?
Hence, through our own experience, TheMentor was born.We call our idea the gift of our horrific experience on the streets.
The only funds TheMentor will require are those to keep our website going, administration costs, marketing (little advertising, as marketing is more affective) and our reasonable salary.
Please, we need the items and efforts listed below to get started.

Gather members, to join our website and those who are willing to donate funds right now; (any funds donated now to get our website up and running assisting citizens are retro-actively tax exempt since our plan is to become tax exempt as soon as we can afford to do such...immediately hopefully.
Citizens willing to donate time, energy and funds to market this idea.
Need a celebrity or high profile promoter.
